I don't agree with that..LeBron would still be an elite player, but he would have to adjust to the physical play that was allowed in Rodman's era.
The league is so soft now..they have made so many rules changes, just like the NFL, to make it more of an offensive league..I'd love to see how LeBron would fare against some of those Knick teams of the mid 90's, or the Pistons of the late 80's.
To be honest, the NBA was a lot better competition wise in the 90's..the elite teams were better than what we have today..I don't think this Heat team would have won a single title in the 90's if they played against those old school teams

I would take it a step further. I would say that today's Heat, Spurs, etc teams would struggle in the 80's and 90's. I haven't watched a complete NBA game in years because the quality has gone down so much. LeBron may have still been great, but these teams would not be able to stack up to the talent of that era.
