Preseason Top Teams 1. Andrean - Davidson and Wojcik two D1 Players 2. LC - Wideman and Wilburn a great 1-2 combo 3. Chesterton - Best Underclassmen Group in the Region -led by Cole Teel and Matt Holba 4. Munster - a solid core again 5. Merrillville - DJ Wilkens the best Frosh Scorer in the Area 6. EC - D1 recruit Hyron Edwards, Anfernee Brown, and Tre'quan Burnett 7. Valpo - John Moser may be the most improved player in area, Valpo has the best Frosh class they have had in a decade. 8. CP - Killer B's are Back - Bardeson, Braxton Rice, and Barclay, CP has the two best shooters in their Frosh class in the area, in LC transfer Skylar Smith and Grant Gelon. 9. Noll- Larry Chrysler is back and a 6'10 transfer 10. Bowman- King is back and is Marvin's leader this year 11. LaPorte - Solid team is back 12. Michigan City- Depth is avaliable again this year 13. West Side - Arnold Wilson leads the team again this year 14. Wallace - Charles Cooper 20pts and 10 rbs is back for El Dub 15. Hammond High- Kirkendall is back as a tough rebounder 16. Highland 17. Marquette - Ryan Fazekas one of the best Soph. in the area and Dean Flores transferred in from Edison 18. Wheeler 19. Roosevelt - Renaldo always has a talented team in Gary. 20. Hobart and Griffith- I know you think I am kidding but Griffith has two of the best Frosh players and they are twins and Hobart has a Solid JH crew coming in led by a Tall Front line led by Torres - his Dad played at RF, Kollross, and Chontos- Larry Bigbie's nephew.

I don't question your assessment of these teams..boys basketball appears to be very strong once again..hope we can get at least one representative down state like we have the last few years
