I am excited for the upcoming season. Football is still going strong but in just a little over a month it will be time for basketball to begin. Which teams and players are everyone looking forward to seeing? I'm looking forward to watching my Wolves defend their PCC title against some very tough competition. It won't be easy, but I believe in the team.

On the girls side, I am kind of curious to see how Merrillville will be this year, the second year for Crown Point under Coach Equihua should be interesting too, Lowell, Hanover, Boone, Whiting, and Bowman are also on the "to see" list. Should also be interesting to see how Hobart will be now and LaPorte could be good.
For the boys, well not a huge fan of boys basketball, but East Chicago, Bowman, Andrean, Noll, Lake Central, Cheserton and Valpo are all on the list.

Crown Point and Bowman girls are bad..trust me on this one
Whiting has a very easy schedule and should cruise in the GSSC..Boone and Wheeler are the only teams that I think could challenge them..and maybe they could be challenged in the Hanover tournament
Boone Grove is still a solid team but wouldn't be surprised to see a team like Hanover or maybe South Central come up and bite them this season
I'm really on the La Porte banwagon..I watched them play plenty of times during the summer and they are going to be good..they MIGHT be able to challenge City and Merrillville in the DAC
For the boys you are pretty much spot on..Marquette will be really good in 1A..Noll and Bowman in 2A..Andrean 3A..and the DAC is going to be a war..Munster is still Munster..don't sleep on them either
