I see this - bringing in Bowman's track coach and Renaldo as a way of attracting kids to velt the way charters school have, with sports for example..

I think you are right apollo. This is not surprising with Velt being a charter school now. Having Thomas as the hoops coach helps with the community too. Not everyone is happy about that and Thomas as head coach helps to bridge that gap a little.

Looks like Roosevelt is really getting some quality coaches..and coaches who have had proven success..football and basketball look to have a bright future if these guys stick around long enough

Just remember there is alot of baggage with some of these hires, but I hope it works out rolling the dice.

I'd say with this program, ANYTHING is worth rolling the dice for..I don't see how it could get much worse
