With Wheeler starting wrestling, it makes you wonder. How long until they begin to dominate the competition there too? There are some great teams in the conference such as River Forest, Whiting and Noll, but Wheeler somehow seems to have the inside track.

Wheeler should be good. Porter County schools like Portage and Chesterton are good in wrestling and some of that will happen at Wheeler too.

I agree, but not simply because of the strenght of the programs in the Duneland, but add to that the strength of wrestling in the area. Wheeler will have a lot to contend with as they start a brand new program, but should do well pretty quickly. People forget sometimes the rapid rise in football. They are the second newest public school in the area as far as football and the 4 newest when throwing in Bowman and Gary Lighthouse into the mix. They got good fast. I would expect the same thing from wrestling.
