Interesting, but not surprising results form the latest Men's Journal Survey of 100 MLB players. Miami Marlins skipper Ozzie Guillen was chosen as the least respected manager in baseball with 36% of the vote! The next two on the list were not even close with Bobby Valentine of the Red Sox with 14% and Manny Acta from Cleveland with 5%. Also no surprise that A.J. Pierzynski was the most hated player, again, by a landslide with 34% of the vote. Alex Rodriguez and Nick Swisher both of the Yankees got 10 and 9% respectively. The White Sox got another "honor" with Orlando Hudson being named the leagues biggest trash talker in another landslide with 31%. Of course, trash talking is a lost art so this is a win in my book ! Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter & Dustin Pedroia were the players that other players most wanted on their team. What do you think of these rankings and who would you put on them? Why you hatin' on the White Sox? That's my team. I have heard Pierzynski is hard to deal with, but Ozzie? That's my man right there. He won a World Series for the South Side. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!

No one is "hatin' " on the Sox. I just thought it was interesting and newsworthy. I honestly think that it is unfair to say Ozzie is not respected, but it can't be for his game management. I don't know, it was MLB players who were polled, so you would have to ask them. Pierzynski by all accounts is a grade A jerk. Even his own team mates have gone on record as not wanting to play with him. I mostly mentioned the Sox players because they were in the area....they did "win" the most.

These polls are always funny. I like to see what players say since we think we know as fans, but we don't know what they think or go through. I don't understand where the disrespect for Ozzie comes in. He has won a WS and knows the game. I was never a fan, but I respect him.

I agree about Ozzie. I wonder if the disrespect is because of his off the field antics. It certainly can't be his knowledge of the game. The man knows baseball.

Maybe, but haters be hatin. He is a legend and will always be loved in Chicago for what he did winning the World Championship. Robin is good, but I miss Ozzie.
