Who would have thought? 4-1! Hopefully this isn't like 2007 where we went 5-1 and then only ended up with two more wins the rest of the way. Great job Coach Snod!
The girls are doing good too, 5-3.
Things are better in Portage.

Portage boys basketball team is on a 20 game losing streak to Merrillville including an 0-12 mark under coach Rick Snodgrass. This is unacceptable at Portage.
Michigan City is on a 12 game losing streak to Merrillville including an 0-9 mark under John Boyd.

Portage Basketball is very young and should be really good next year, only problem is the DAC is loaded with freshman/soph. talent at Chesterton, LC, CP, Valpo, LaPorte, and Merrillville in the future- and you never know, another DAC school could be bringing in some talent soon via transfers, as we have seen in the past? Portage needs to keep it's players in Portage. Give them credit for the MC victory and being more competitive this year.
