Wow, looks like some great matchups!
My predictions are: 4A: Lake Central (no, not because they are from the region. Two divison one pitchers and a strong feeling are prompting this one) 3A: Western (It seems like there may be a slight defensive edge for Western) 2A: Mater Dei (just a feeling) 1A: LCC (They have been dominant throughout the tournament and play great competition all year)

4A Could be a great game, neither team has been to the State Title game recently and emotions always play in, with Carroll beating Cathedral the last two years. LC is the best team in the State all year and should prevail here led by the Division 1-2 Pitching Combo of Jimmy McNamara and Taylor Leinhart both bound for Central Michigan and the HR Pop of Chase Fieldhouse. By the way former Munster HR Leader Jim Magrames played at Central Michigan in the late 80's, early 90's as a Catcher and was a LC Football Defensive Coordinator for Bill Melby at LC and Gavit. Only one close loss all season for LC to Chesterton, beating Cathedral, CP Twice, Portage twice, Elkhart Central, Penn, and Zionsville. A tough schedule to boot and see what happens when you start playing teams outside the Region, DAC. I have also heard that CP will be playing Andrean, Munster, and KV when the Double Round Robin goes away in Basketball. LC needs to play Andrean each year in Baseball and so does CP, not just a scrimmage. 3A Western avoided Ryan and Andrean in Griffith upset and I believe they are a team of destiny here. 2A Northfield is no.1 and will win. 1A LCC is the team to beat here, whomever wins the game between Blackhawk and LCC in 1A wins State, tough schedules always prevail.
