It is great to see a long time assistant who loves the sport and the program get a shot to be a head coach.

Going to miss him here in Michigan City, I thought him and coach Boyd complimented each other extremely well. But getting a chance to be the head coach at your alma mater is something that is hard to pass up.

tommy, you are right. It is very hard to pass up when you have a chance to make an impact where you played. I really like that after spending that much time as an assistant, he gets to be a head coach now. I think it's cool to see that.
