I am not sure why people like to see other people get beat up. The cheer about it and fill bars up and spend money on this. I don't understand.

I think that it is exciting. I know a lot of people don't like the violence of it, but there really is skill involved in both boxing and MMA. I think people do like the violence, I think a lot of people like football for the same reason. I guess that is the best explanation.

"People" like it because it is pure sport. Just you, one-on-one. It shows who is better prepared, who has the best strategy, and who is the strongest. I don't have a stinking clue why you would not.
